Main Roads In Bukit Bintang
Bukit Bintang is built around three main roads that form the nucleus of the district:
- Jalan Bukit Bintang – The heart of the district. A century ago, Jalan Bukit Bintang was the only street in Malaysia with fun fairs, cabarets, theatres, merry-go-round, ferris wheel and other entertainment outlets. Today it is home to Bintang Walk, the country’s premier shopping and entertainment hub.
- Changkat Bukit Bintang – famously known as the best party street in Malaysia boasting a host of fabulous restaurants, gastropubs and sports bars. However, amidst the pulsating chaos, it is also a hotspot for massage parlours. This iconic road is split into halves of vibrant nightlife and serene relaxation, with mouth-watering food in both, making it an allure for locals and tourists alike.
- Jalan Alor – The most famous food street in Malaysia. Originally a market street, this iconic road has hosted Chinese hawkers and restaurants for over a century. Today it is known as Kuala Lumpur’s Hawker Heaven, where hundreds of street vendors gather to show off their culinary gems and thousands of people bring their appetites to devour them.
These 3 roads were expanded and developed into areas with completely different atmosphere and features.
